MultiVariants’ Mix & Match feature allows you to sell products in a fixed quantity while giving customers the freedom to choose different variants within that limit. This is perfect for businesses that sell bundled products with multiple variations.
Example:
Let’s say you own a chocolate shop and sell gift boxes of 12 chocolates. Instead of offering only pre-set assortments, you can let customers handpick their 12 chocolates from a selection of 20 flavors. They can mix and match, but the total quantity must always be 12 before they can proceed to checkout.
Now, let’s set this up in your store!
How to Enable Mix & Match in MultiVariants #
- Navigate to the MultiVariants dashboard and click “Create Ruleset.“
- Scroll down to the “Add Restrictions” section and click on it.
- From the list of restrictions, select “Mix and Match” and click “Add Now.”
- You’ll find input fields for “Minimum Total (All Variants Combined)” and “Maximum Total (All Variants Combined)”.
- Enter your required quantity.
- If you are selling a box of 6 cupcakes, set both Min Total and Max Total to 6.
- Click “Create”
- Now save the ruleset.
