A refreshed design for the bulk order table

The MultiVariants bulk order table has a new, modern look, with a cleaner layout for option lists, quantity boxes, prices and subtotals. Stores already using MultiVariants keep their current design until they choose to switch.

    Why it Matters:

Your bulk ordering experience looks more professional to customers, without your live store changing unexpectedly.

Free trial extended to 14 days

The MultiVariants free trial on paid plans is now 14 days, up from 7. Time spent on the free plan doesn't count against your trial.

    Why it Matters:

You have enough time to build your rulesets, set up product options and see everything working on your live store before your first charge.

New Feature: Tiered volume discounts! Built into the bulk order table

You can now create tiered discounts directly in MultiVariants — for example 10% off at 24 units and 20% off at 48 — based on total quantity or order value, and connect them to one or more rulesets. On the product page, the table shows the discounted price, the active tier and how close the customer is to the next one. Available on the Standard plan and above.

    Why it Matters:

You can reward larger orders without a separate discount app, and customers see the incentive to order more right where they're choosing quantities.

Orders no longer include an extra internal field

Orders placed through MultiVariants were carrying an extra internal field on each line item, which some CRM and order-automation tools couldn't read. That field no longer appears on your orders.

    Why it Matters:

Your order data flows cleanly into your CRM and automation tools again, with only the details you and your customers expect.

Full support for Shopify B2B catalog pricing

When a B2B customer is logged in, the bulk order table now shows the prices from their company's Shopify B2B catalog — including percentage adjustments, fixed prices and volume price breaks — and respects the catalog's quantity rules and product availability. Retail visitors continue to see your standard prices.

    Why it Matters:

Wholesale buyers see the same prices in the table that they're charged at checkout, and retail and wholesale pricing stay separate.

  • Aug 06, 2026v0.0.0Update

Dashboard upgrade link now opens your plan page

On the free plan, the upgrade link in the dashboard banner showed an "unable to connect" error instead of opening the plans page. It now takes you straight to your plan options.

    Why it Matters:

You can upgrade to unlock more features whenever you're ready, without hitting an error.

More ways to price product options, plus one-time fees

You can now choose how each product option is charged: per unit, per selected variant, or once for the whole product. You can also add a one-time fee — such as a setup or artwork charge — and waive it automatically once a customer orders above a quantity you set. The price shown on the product page always matches what's charged at checkout.

    Why it Matters:

You can recover real setup and handling costs openly, instead of inflating unit prices or absorbing the cost, so your products don't look overpriced at low volumes.

  • Jul 02, 2026v0.0.0Update

Priced options are now always charged correctly

If a Product Options choice was saved with an extra space at the end of its name — common when pasting from a spreadsheet — its price was skipped when a customer added it to the cart. The price is now applied every time.

    Why it Matters:

Customers are charged the full price for the options they pick, so you no longer lose add-on revenue without any warning.

  • Jun 16, 2026v0.0.0Update

Product Options: add priced custom choices to your products

You can now add custom options to a product — dropdowns, buttons, colour and image swatches, radio buttons and checkboxes — and set a price for each choice. When a customer picks a priced option, the extra charge is added to their cart automatically, as a single add-on line per product.

    Why it Matters:

    NEEDS-WHY

  • May 28, 2026v0.0.0Update

Bulk order table now shows on sold-out products

On some stores, the MultiVariants table didn't load on product pages where the product was out of stock, so product details were missing. The table now loads as expected for sold-out products.

    Why it Matters:

Customers can still see a product's full details and variants when it's out of stock.

  • May 14, 2026v0.0.0Update

Bulk order table now loads reliably on more themes

On some Shopify themes that load app features late, the MultiVariants table failed to appear on product pages. It now shows up reliably on these themes.

    Why it Matters:

Customers on these stores can see and use the bulk order table again, instead of a product page without it.

  • May 12, 2026v0.0.0Update

Faster-loading bulk order table on product pages

The bulk order table now gets your ruleset settings and translations ready together with the product page, instead of waiting on an extra request each time a customer visits. Changes you save to rulesets or language settings still show on your store straight away.

    Why it Matters:

Your product pages render faster, so customers see the bulk order table without delay.

  • Apr 23, 2026v0.0.0Update

    Improved app stability

We've reduced the amount of background data MultiVariants writes on our servers during everyday use, removing load that could cause interruptions to the app.

    Why it Matters:

MultiVariants stays more reliably available for you and your customers.

  • Apr 21, 2026v0.0.0Update

Prices now match your store's currency format

On stores that use a custom money format, prices in the bulk order table were shown in a different style from the rest of the store — for example "RON14.00" instead of "14.00 lei". The table now uses your store's own currency format.

    Why it Matters:

Customers see prices displayed consistently across your whole storefront.

  • Apr 15, 2026v0.0.0Update

Checkout now uses the right rules after you copy a ruleset

If you copied a ruleset, changed its order requirements and assigned the copy to a product, checkout still checked the original ruleset's requirements. Customers could be blocked with a "criteria not met" message even when their order met the new rules. Checkout now checks the ruleset actually assigned to the product.

    Why it Matters:

Customers who meet your requirements can complete checkout, so valid orders are no longer turned away.

  • Apr 08, 2026v0.0.0Update

Eligible customers can order again when prices are hidden

When Customer Eligibility was on and a ruleset was set to hide prices, every visitor — including logged-in, eligible customers — saw the login message instead of the table, and the Add to Cart and Checkout buttons disappeared. Eligible customers now see the bulk order table and can add to cart as normal.

    Why it Matters:

Your approved customers can place orders without hitting a login prompt meant for other visitors.

  • Mar 25, 2026v0.0.0Update

Control who can see your bulk order table

With Customer Eligibility, you decide who sees the MultiVariants bulk order table. You can require customers to log in, limit the table to wholesale or B2B accounts, or give access to specific customers, while other visitors see your standard product page.

    Why it Matters:

If you sell to both retail and wholesale customers from one store, retail shoppers no longer see wholesale pricing or pack sizes, and you don't need a separate storefront to keep them apart.

  • Mar 16, 2026v0.0.0Update

Choosing a plan after install no longer shows a blank page

After installing MultiVariants, clicking "Choose app plan" could occasionally leave you on a blank page outside your Shopify admin. You're now taken to plan selection, and if something goes wrong you see a clear message with a way to retry.

    Why it Matters:

New merchants can finish setup and pick a plan without getting stuck.

Earlier, MultiVariants 2.0.1 was rolled out as a beta version to a small group of selected stores to test the new App Embed–based loading system. During this testing phase, we identified and resolved a few issues to ensure everything works smoothly.
